Andy spent the early part of the year collaborating on a new book on chickens. The book will be on worldwide release in October of this year and is titled 'The Chicken: a natural history'. Described as "a timely, encyclopedic, science-based study that offers a true understanding of the species, reclaiming it from its commercial status as a mere egg and meat provider. Topics include anatomy, developmental biology, ancestry, breeding and origins, and there is a comprehensive look at chicken behaviour ." It is available from Amazon & all good book shops
